The City of Greenbrier and The Arkansas Department of Health has issued the 'Boil Water' Notice for the Briarwood St., Briarwood Ln, Rena Dr, Autumn Hills, Hilltop Drive, Hickory, Hillcrest, JR Circle, Ridge Dr, Pine Top Rd, Heath Ln, Needs Creek Ln, Wineglass Rd, Forsythia Ln, Wildernes Rd, Bell Circle, Foxhill Rdm, Ball Hill Ln, Ball Hill Dr, Tracy Ln, Lantern Lite Ln. Springhill Dr, North Springhill Ln, Springhill Drive West, Buena Vista, Kirby Dr, Wilcox Rd. Robin Cove, Robin Dr. and Weaver Heights.
This order was issued as a precautionary measure, because of the possibility that contaminated water may have entered the distribution system as a result of a loss in normal system pressure from a Tank not filling due to a telimetry issue.
Under the 'Boil Water' Notice, all affected customers are advised that the water may be unsafe for human consumption, and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one (1) minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
