Business Licenses and Taxes
While the City of Greenbrier does not require a business license, the City Services Office, The Planning and Zoning Commission, Faulkner County Assessor's Office, and Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce can help you navigate the process of starting a brick and mortar business in Greenbrier.

Sales and Use Tax
To obtain a Sales & Use tax number, call Arkansas Sales & Use Tax Department at (501) 682-7104.
State Sales Tax— 6.50%
City Sales Tax— 2.50%
Faulkner County Sales Tax— 0 .5%
Total Base Tax = 9.5%
Utilities
Natural gas service is available through CenterPoint Energy.
Energy is available through Entergy.
Water/Sewer is available at City Services located at the Municipal Building 501.679.2422
Trash in the city limits is through Ramco Waste or by calling 501.851.1171
There are numerous internet and phone services in the area. (Windstream, Swyft Connect, TCWorks, ATT&T, Cricket, Verizon, HughesNet)
